Attached is Q12 which I would like some support with and also my workings on what I have so far. I would like to learn from you.

The question says: the tangent to the graph of 1/x^2 at the point where x=3 crosses the coordinate axes at points M and N. Find the exact area of the triangle MON.

You have correctly found the equation of the tangent. Now find its intercepts, which will be points M and N. What is holding you back?

(By the way, thanks for following the rules on your first post. The only thing you failed to do is to tell us why you are stuck here.)

okay, I just needed to be sure that I should find the intercepts - the x and y will give me numbers which I will then use to find the area of the triangle. Thank you :)
