Question: If F(x)=7/(x-4) and G(x)= 2/x, find (F*G)(X) and the domain of F*G?

What I have so far:

(F*G)(X) = F(G(X))

7/(2/x)-4

7/(2/x)-4 * x/x = 7x/2-4x <--- is that the answer???

Domain of F*G = ????? I have no idea?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, just remember the parentheses.

The domain of F*G is all those values of x for which F*G and G are defined. A function is not defined where its denominator is equal to zero.
