Makes no sense: you have 2 operation stuck together: -/ ;
And what is x3: x to the power 3? If so, post like this: x^3

its more or less read like this 23=3x
23

If you are trying to type:
23 divided by 23 equals 3 times x, then it's typed as follows.

23/23 = 3x

The first step in solving this equation for x is to simplify the fraction.

Any Real number (other than zero) divided by itself equals 1.

1/1 = 1
2/2 = 1
3/3 = 1
...
23/23 = 1
and so on ...

After simplifying the fraction 23/23, we get the following.

1 = 3x

Now finish. Divide both sides of this last equation by 3, to get x all by itself on one side of the equals sign.

You're done!

If you would like more help with this exercise, then please show whatever work you can accomplish, and try to say something about WHY you're stuck, so that I might determine where to continue helping you.
