Geometry Help ASAP! 'If AD = 30, what is BC? If ST = 2, QS = 4, PT = 5, find PQ"

Hi! Recently I've missed 2 classes and had 8 homeowkr questions I couldn't quite solve. I need help on solving them or just even starting the problem.

1) In the diagram below, if [imath]AD=30[/imath], what is [imath]BC[/imath]?

2) If [imath]ST = 2,[/imath] [imath]QS = 4,[/imath] and [imath]PT = 5,[/imath] find [imath]PQ[/imath]

3) Find the Area of the Triangle

1) Given that [imath]AB+CD = 20[/imath], what is [imath]BD[/imath]?

2) Find QS

3) Find the Area of the rectangle

4) ll five rectangles in the diagram are congruent. If the short side of each rectangle is 1 then find the long side of each rectangle

5)Find AC

If you can help with even just a few problems, that would really help me after missing classes from sports. Thanks!!

Please pick one of the posted exercises, and reply with a clear listing of your steps so far.

For instance, for exercise (3) in the first problem set, you labelled the sides without given lengths with variables (for instance, you can label AH as "x", CH as "h", and CB as "y"). The picture shows three right triangles, to which you can apply the Pythagorean Theorem. Where did this lead you?

Laksha2011: This picture contains three triangles: AHC, BHC, and ABC. khansaheb was asking which of these three triangles is referenced in the instructions. (I assumed ABC in my earlier reply, but I could certainly be wrong.)

You still did not tell me area of which triangle (out of 3 shown) needs to be calculated!

What equation/s have been taught to you regarding area of triangles?
