Can someone solve 1-5 and show the work for me? I do not understand.

To evaluate a function at a given value, you just replace the variable with the value. For #1, you are given [MATH]f(x) = n^3-9n^2+16n+13[/MATH], and asked to evaluate [MATH]f(6)[/MATH], which is [MATH](6)^3-9(6)^2+16(6)+13[/MATH]. Can you do that?
Yes, I know how to do that. Sorry I got confused on the word evaluate I know what to do now. Thanks!

Although we are here to help you it really would have been nice if you had told us what the exact problem you had was with your problem set. Three volunteers had to respond to your post before the last post hit on your problem. This caused two tutor (and now me) not to attend to other questions. This is why we ask all posters to read the posting guidelines to maximize the help we can give.
