In a group of ten people, the probability that at least two were born on the same day of the week is 1. True or False? My teacher told me it is true but didn't explain. Why is it true?

If it is not true that at least two were born on the same day of the week, then they must all have been born on different days.

Try making a list of 10 days of the week that are all different.

If ten pigeons fly to a seven hole dovecote for the night, must it be the case that at lest two will enter by the same hole?
