Check whether the given function is an original. If it is, then calculate the Laplace transform of that function using the denition of the Laplace transform. Also find the domain of that transform.
a) f(t) = (2 + t)e^(-3t)
b) f(t) = sin(3t)

I think that a is original but b not. Is that correct? What next?

I have not seen the term "original" function before. What is an original function? Once you tell us that, show us how you would check your functions for being original.
