I just need help understanding the solution to a linear equation with three variables if all the variables terminate and you are left with 0=0

A single linear equation in three variables does not have a unique solution. You can only solve for one variable in terms of the other 2.

For example, if ax+ by+cz= 0 then z= -(ax+ by)/c.

x= y= z= 0 is one solution but so is x= y= 1, z= -(a+ b)/c.
