You cannot figure 'H' - but you can figure 'h'. You have been given an equation.
Please read the question carefully and critically!

Since t is defined as the time after the ball was hit, when the ball is hit, t=0. They are asking you to find h(0).
The are asking for h and t at the vertex of the function. When a function is written in the form they gave, this is particularly easy. What have you been taught about that?
The ground is at h=0, so they are asking you to solve the equation h(t) = 0 for t. Replace h with 0 and solve. (Again, it's written in a way that makes this easy to do.)
