Hi I’m a grade 11 student and I can’t figure out how to factor the word problem of the equation. “A golf ball is hit from ground level. It is modelled by the relation h= -4.9^2 + 30.6t, where h is the ball’s height above ground, in metres, and t is the time, in seconds. For how long will the ball travel before it hits the ground?
I tried factoring it but I don’t know if it’s right
