While calculating sin(x), the value of 'x' is in radians (not degrees). More specifically, if you are calculating "this" with a calculator, make sure it is in "radian" mode. How do I calculate y(0.3) with the method Runge-Kutta 4th order when 3dy/dx +xy^2= sinx, y(0) =5 and h=0.3?
I get 4,66 but the possible answers are
1. 0.88
2. - 0.05
3. - 3,61
4. - 7,25*10^8View attachment 28742
Thanks for the advice but I think I did that correctly because I used Google for the sinx and it automatically is in radian modeWhile calculating sin(x), the value of 'x' is in radians (not degrees). ?Please share your steps that resulted in 4,66. Thank you!
