Please could anyone offer any help or point me in the direction of some support material for the below question.

Please note A1 = 6.1 and A2=2.6

I have already got the single Sin wave in the form x=Rsin(ωt+ϕ) as

6.631Sin(ωt+23.09) but how the **** do I select an appropriate value of ω while taking 0.5Hz<f<1Hz into account??!! (I should be okay with the next part of the question).

It seems that they want you to select some value for ω\omega so that the corresponding frequency in Hz would be between 0.5 and 1.0; e.g. 0.8, or anything else in that interval. Do you know how to translate frequencies in Hz to corresponding ω\omega's? Or do you know what is the period of sin(ωt+ϕ)\sin(\omega t + \phi) ?
