Please could anyone offer any help or point me in the direction of some support material for the below question.

Please note A1 = 6.1 and A2=2.6

I have already got the single Sin wave in the form x=Rsin(ωt+ϕ) as

6.631Sin(ωt+23.09) but how the **** do I select an appropriate value of ω while taking 0.5Hz<f<1Hz into account??!! (I should be okay with the next part of the question).

It seems that they want you to select some value for [imath]\omega[/imath] so that the corresponding frequency in Hz would be between 0.5 and 1.0; e.g. 0.8, or anything else in that interval. Do you know how to translate frequencies in Hz to corresponding [imath]\omega[/imath]'s? Or do you know what is the period of [imath]\sin(\omega t + \phi)[/imath] ?
