I did y2-y1/x2-x1, then picked out a did y-y1=m(x-x1)The slope-intercept form is y=mx+c.
C will be your y intercept, while m is the gradient or slope. Do you know how to find those?
What is the value of the y intercept?Could you show your working?
Wouldn't be more beneficial to let the student work out the slope and intercept? The y-intercept is 40 and the slope is 5.
In y=mx+b, m is the slope, b is the y-intercept, x is x and y is y. Just make these substitutions into y=mx+b and you will be done.
I guess.Wouldn't be more beneficial to let the student work out the slope and intercept?
