FORCE X LENGTH STRESS= Z Z = (section modulus)
if the maximum allowable stress is 14(N/mm^2), the lenght of the cantilever is 1200(mm), and the force to be carried at the end of the cantilever is 1000(N) calculate the required section modulus for the beam????
I've worked this problem out but the answer i get seems to large for the application can someone please help me!!! and what would the units be?? Nmm^2?????
