mean, median, standard deviation

First, a technical point that seems to be missed more and more...

11+14/2 = 11 + 7 = 18 -- Please remember the Order of Operations. There is NOT an application where it does not apply.

Second, it takes an average of 14 minutes just for the bus. Why would the mean for the entire trip be 12.5?!

Mean: 11+14 = 25

Now what?
