interpretation for the slope of the estimated regression equation

Hint: How are the values in the table defined? (In other words, use the values as defined, not as they are interpreted in the "real world". You are working in terms of the table, not the actual paychecks, and the table has done some helpful [for the table] abbreviating.) ;)

Plot the regression line (y = b0 + b1*x) on your scatter plot. As you expected in question 1, that is "a positive linear relationship." What are the units attached to the slope, (change of y)/(change of x)?

[You are so close to getting this that it is hard to give hints without telling you the answer!]
