10 boys and 12 girls rent a 16 passenger van and a 6 passenger car to drive somewhere. If they are distributed randomly what is the probability that

a) no boys in car
b) no girls in car
c) Alan and Margaret are both in the car
d) there are more girls than boys

answer key
a) 0.012
b) 10/3553
c) 0.52
d)0.42

Thanks in advance for the help. I have a test tomorrow and I'm not feeling to good about this. Any help you can provide is appreciated greatly.

Having a test tomorrow, you obviously have covered all of this material. While you may not feel entirely confident of yourself, you should at least be able to make a start of things. So what are your thoughts? What have you tried? How far have you gotten? Where are you stuck?

For instance, part (a) requires all girls in the car. So how far have you gotten in picking six of twelve to go in the car?
