Hey!

I'm studying estimation of parameters, but I'm really confused about when I have to use binomial, Poisson or normal distribution. Can someone please explain when I use each one of these distributions? Thank you :D

The simple answer is 'if it looks like that kind of distribution use that one' but more specifically, in looking at your data, there is a series of questions which need answering in order to determine what kind of distribution might be appropriate. The page
