Guys,can someone tell me how to find h in the last problem.
I thought 550-5%=522.5 but I don't think that is the solution.
P.S Don't ask me what the text means because even I don't know German
 
For those of us that are non German speaking, how are we expected to help you with a problem if we don't even know what the question is?

Seems like you need to offer us some information...

I don't speak german either. I tried to solve it just by looking at the picture.
 
Okay, so I used Google translate. The slope is a -5% grade, and you can just use 550+slope*1800 to determine your answer.

Maybe you should try doing something like this (figure out the question in plain english) instead of posting what's more of a foreign language question than a math question.
 
550 - 5% = 549.95 is complete nonsense. What does it mean to subtract 5% from a length. What you mean is that you want to subtract 5% of 550 from 550. You write that as 550 - 5%(550) or 550- .05(550).
