I am creating this thread on behalf of @jamesp who recently joined the forum (and is, therefore, unable make any visible posts himself).

Below (the line) is what he sent to me in a private conversation that I initiated with him to alert him to the current problem in the forum (ie: the lack of moderators to approve new members' posts) and he would like to invite comments from other members:-

These occurrences may be of interest to the mathematicians. I have run across thousands of them in the 1769 King James Bible, the King James Bible in print today since 1769.

He later sent me the further message replicated below (the next line) and would, I believe, again like to receive comment(s) on it too...

This all depends on a specific version of the bible, and language. To my best knowledge, the bible wasn't written in English.

You can easily find all kinds of numerology if the source is just big enough.
