Hi everyone,
I’m a bit stuck on some exercises regarding three sections of a probability exercise.
The information I’m provided with is as follows: “The stochastic process X defines the number of heads that we get if we toss a coin 20 times; historical data show that 25% of the times we toss a coin we get tails."
I cannot figure out the three parts below:
- What is the law of X?
- What is the expected value and st.dev. of X?
- What is p(X=15)?
I would be grateful if you could help me with these,
Many thanks!
