300e^-.076t when t = 15; t is in the exponent

sorry new to this....math and message board protocol...

the exact problem is:

300e^-.076t the t is in the exponent. He asks me to evaluate when t = 15


so here is what I did:

300e^ -.076(15) and then I think that is 300e^ -1.14

then I think it's -1.14 ln 300 ln e and I think that is -1.14 * 5.7037

equals: -6.5022

Why did you try to fin the logarithm of the expression? (And you had better check those rules. A few things went wrong.)

Just evaluate the expression. 300e^{-1.14} = 300*0.3198 = 95.9457
