Again, d = degrees.

If sin(x - 3)d/cos(2x + 6)d = 1, what is the value of x.

MY WORK:

I equated x - 3 to 2x + 6 and solved for x.

My answer is = = -9.

Book's answer is x = 29.

What did I do wrong?
 
Do this one over in light of the sec-csc problem and see if you get a different answer.
 
He wants you to look at the other problem and see how what he said applies to this one.
