what is the slope of the graph of 3y+6x+15?

plez explain and show all work so i understand .thank you!

Best way to find the slope here is probably to put it into slope intercept form.

y=mx+b

3y+6x=15

subtract 6x from each side

3y=-6x+15

Now you have to have y alone so divide everything by 3

y=-6/3x+15/3

Which simplifies to:

y=-2x+5

The slope is always the number in front of x , so the slope is -2.

At least one of the "plus" signs is incorrect. Please reply with a corrected statement of the exercise. Thank you.

Note: If, as a previous reply supposed, the equation is meant to be "3y + 6x = 15", then, upon subtraction, one would have "3y = -6x + 15". That is, the coefficient of "x" would be negative, not positive.

Need help really badly

Ax+By+C=0 < Gerneral form formula

Put the following into General form:

y=-x+5
