I am confused. Is the standard form for "53 million" written as "53,000,000,000", or is the standard form "5.3"?

Also to find the prime factorization of 144, what steps should I use?

And, to "use the Order of operations on 8-5X2", would I write out 5X2 =10 and then 10-8=2?

Thank you for your help, it has been alot of years since I have done this type of math.

The standard form for 53 million would be 53,000,000. You've written it as 53 BILLION instead (please review place values!)

To find the prime factorization of 144, take it one step at a time. 144 is divisible by 2, so it can be written as
2*72
Now, 2 is prime, but 72 is not because it is also divisible by 2. Write 72 as 2*36, and we now have this:
2*2*36
Continue this process until ALL of the factors are prime numbers......

For 8 - 5 X 2, you DO start with the multiplication. And 5 X 2 is 10. But you will then have 8 - 10 (rather than the 10 - 8 you wrote).

Do the subtraction. 8 - 10 = -2

I hope this helps you.
