10 children were eating pizza. 8 children ate cheese pizza and 6 children ate pepperoni pizza. How many children ate both cheese and pepperoni? (all children left with at least 1 of the items)
Thanks,

What have you tried so far? You've drawn the two overlapping circles, labelled them with the given values, and... then what?

Please be complete. Thank you! ;)

Thanks,

Sounds like a Venn diagram thing... This is fourth grade? I just did a problem like this Discrete math... Boy do I feel dumb

The first thing I notice is that 6+ 8= 14 which is larger than 10! How did that happen?
