need help with confusing question..

what is delta w given w= x+ y + z

i did 9+9+4 = 22 but I got it wrong...help?

How did you come to the conclusion that these are vectors? If they are vectors, how can "delta x", "delta y", and "delta z" be numbers?

The question is definitely very poorly worded.

As far as I understand the question delta x ... etc can be considered as differences of coordinates. But then the equation w = x + y + z is something new to me.
