Is one of your problems:

Simplify:

\(\displaystyle \dfrac{sin(x) * cosec(x)}{cot(x)}\)

To start off, convert cosec and cot to sin and cos ... and continue....

That will depend upon what you're taking the sine and cosine of (you don't include any arguments for these expressions) and what the value of "x" is in the tangent expression.

Exponents are usually denoted, in text form, with the "carat" character: ^

This is probably the Shift character on the "6" key on your keyboard.

Or did you mean something else...? ;)
