I have been working with this problem for a while now and gotten nowhere. I'am going to use it for my astronomical project.
Equation one: c-b = b-a
Equation two: b/a = 3^(x-z)
Equation three: c/a = 3^(x-y)
Find an expression that gives z(x,y)
Does the last line mean "find z in terms of a, b, x, and y"? Either way, what have you tried so far? Where are you stuck?Equation one: c-b = b-a
