I have to solve this equation, but I forget the steps to solve it.

-5 = h + 2 / -3

I have gotten to h + 2/ -3 + 5 = 0 but then I am stuck.

Can someone please help me? Thank you so much.

If you are sure it is h+(2/-3) and not (h+2)/-3...
You want h on one side and all the numbers on the other side of the equals. You moved the numbers the wrong way.

FYI
If The book said
Code:
     2
h + --- then it is h+(2/-3)
     -3

 h + 2
 ----- then it is (h+2)/-3
   -3
