(1-cos(2)?)(1+cot(2)?)=1

My father and I have been working on this all night. We are to establish each identity and cannot figure it out. Please help.

[1cos2(θ)][1+cot2(θ)] = 1.\displaystyle [1-cos^2(\theta)][1+cot^2(\theta)] \ = \ 1.

[sin2(θ)][csc2(θ)] = 1.\displaystyle [sin^2(\theta)][csc^2(\theta)] \ = \ 1.

sin2(θ)sin2(θ) = 1, 1 = 1 QED.\displaystyle \frac{sin^2(\theta)}{sin^2(\theta)} \ = \ 1, \ 1 \ = \ 1 \ QED.
