(1-cos(2)?)(1+cot(2)?)=1

My father and I have been working on this all night. We are to establish each identity and cannot figure it out. Please help.

\(\displaystyle [1-cos^2(\theta)][1+cot^2(\theta)] \ = \ 1.\)

\(\displaystyle [sin^2(\theta)][csc^2(\theta)] \ = \ 1.\)

\(\displaystyle \frac{sin^2(\theta)}{sin^2(\theta)} \ = \ 1, \ 1 \ = \ 1 \ QED.\)
