How would I solve this quadratic equation word problem , an arrow is shot vertically upward from a platform 6 ft high at a rate of 162 ft per sec. When will the arrow hit the ground? Use the formula :h=-16t^2 +v0t+h0

Just plug in the numbers and solve for t:

initial height, h0 = 6 ft

initial velocity, v0 = 162 fps

arrow hits the ground, h = 0 ft
