arcs and chords

I've looked through my book many times and I can't figure out how to do these problems.

I'm supposed to find AB, but I don't even know where to start.

Probably the right triangle and the Pythagorean Theorem would be a good place to start.

What stapel has said, and also a little hint. After you find out that other length of that right triangle, remember to multiple it by 2

After you find out the length of AC using the Pythagorean Theorem. Remember to add the answer by itself (or multiple by 2) so you get AB length instead of AC :lol:
