So I was able to solve for the bounds of t, which were 0 < t < 1/8, but I don't know how to solve for the last part, can someone help?

To answer the first question you had to find how the area depends on t. Which is the answer to the second question. Please post your work, we'll take a look.

This how I solved for the bounds. But I am not sure how to solve for the area in terms of t

Calculate the co-ordinates of points of intersection in terms of 't'

One of those would be (0,0) and the other one would be (?,?)

Then set up the integration.
