Plane can travel 470 miles per hour with the wind and 410 miles per hour against the wind, find the speed of the plane
in still air. How do you arrive at the conclusion?

We need to find - the speed of plane in still air.

Call that a variable.

Let the speed of plane in still air = P

Let the speed of wind = W
