An enterprise got a bonus and decided to share it in equal parts between the exemplary workers. It turned out, however, that there were 3 more exemplary workers than it had been assumed. In that case, each of them would have got 4 roubles less. The administration had found the possibility to increase the total sum of the bonus by 90 roubles and as a result each exemplary worker got 25 roubles. How many people got a bonus?

x = original no of workers
Bonus = original bonus
Bonus2 = New bonus
y= original share of each worker

each of them would have got 4 roubles less
Bonus = ( x+3) * (y -4) --(i)

Bonus2 = Bonus + 90

Bonus2 = 25* (x +3) --(ii)
(Bonus + 90) = 25 * ( x +3)

Solving:
(25x + 75) - 90 = (x+3) *(y-4)
29x -3 = xy + 3y
I have to find x and add 3 .
it looks so simple but cannot do it .

You need two equations, and you forgot the most basic one: the original bonus equals xy.

So you might write the equations

(x+3)(y-4) = xy
25(x + 3) = xy + 90

Can you solve that system?
