Ballfield inside a ballfield

I have a softball field. It is 300 feet from the tip of home plate, down the foul line (equal on both side) to the fence. I need to fit a rectanngular lacrosse field within this field. League rules specifty that the field needs to be 90 yards x 55 yards. Can I fit this field onto my softball field? And - assuming a width of at least 50 yards, what is the longest field I can place on this field, going either 'north - south" or "east - west"?

Without seeing your work we don't know where you are getting stuck.

It looks like the softball field is a quarter-circle, with radius 100 yards (though it doesn't actually say that).

Any rectangle inscribed in the quarter-circle has diagonal equal to the radius.
