Mrs. Jones gives $680 each year to charity. She gives the United Way twice as
much as The Red Cross, but only half as much as The American Heart
Association. How much does she give to The American Heart Association? Need help figuring out how to get to answer. (step by step please)

Are we to assume that those are the only three charities she gives to?

Let "A" be the amount of money she gives tol the American Heart Association. Can you write the other two amounts in terms of A? What is their sum?

I am not sure where to start

I am completely lost on this one as well. Yes, we are to assume she is giving to 3 charities. Does anyone have a clue on how to set this up to solve A?
