Hi everybody,

I could not understand the following question. Why we did not write directly P[E] = 0.4? After the computations on the second page, we found P[E] = 0.25. However, in the first page question states that P[E] = 0.40.

I did not see that.
 
I see what you're saying. If we subsitute the given values and the solution into equations on page 36, some of those equations are false. Maybe typo(s) are to blame.
