Given that f(x) = x2 − 3x + 3 and g(x) =
the quantity of x minus one, over four
, solve for f(g(x)) when x = 5.

What is f(2)?
What is g(7)?
What is f(Pittsburgh)?

Given that f(x) = x2 − 3x + 3 and g(x) =

First find what g(5) is. Do you see why that's the first step?

Then find f(something) ... you decide what that is.

Then show us your work, even if you know it's wrong, because that's how we work here:

For \(\displaystyle g(x)= \frac{x- 1}{4}\) you appear to have used Latex. Why did you not use it for f(x)? If you do not use Latex, please use "^" to indicate exponents: "x2" means "x times 2". "x^2" means "x squared". In any case, f(g(5)) means "first find g(5)". That will be some specific number. Then "find f of that number".
