Good Morning,

I am hoping someone can help me or at least point me in the right direction;

For work I am trying to work out what the chance of a person winning on roulette, and if possible, the chance that they won or lost the amount they did.

I’ve been trying to determine an equation to work this out based on the number of bets made, the amount wagered, and the number of rounds won.

I think I have worked out how to calculate the chance that someone won over a number of rounds as;

R – Rounds
B – Total Bets

B/(R*37)
37 due to there being 37 different winning numbers (based on a standard single Zero table).

Example:
R = 80
B = 160
160/(80*37) = 160/2960 = 1/92.5 or 5.40%

Is this correct? And if so is there a way to adjust it to show the chance they won the amount they did. Say $13,400.00.

Cheers,
