I have been struggling with this circle geometry problem.

Carlie and Dylan meet in a local park at the edge of a large circular pond. They decide to walk in opposite directions around the pond. Carlie walks at a speed of 4.5 feet/second for 15 seconds. Dylan walks at a speed of 1.6 metres/second for 12 seconds. When they stop, they look at each other and wave. Just then, they notice that two of their friends, Abby and Ben, are also at the pond, but not together. They are the same distance apart as Carlie and Dylan, but on the other side of the pond. Carlie estimates the angle between Abby, herself, and Ben, ∠ACB, to be 42 degrees .

Determine the following:

a) What is the angle between Carlie, the centre of the pond, and Dylan?

b) How far is Carlie from the centre of the pond? How far is Dylan from the centre of the pond?

Yes yes, Show all calculations and include a diagram with your solution.

On this forum we do not solve problems for students. We prefer to help the students by requiring them to solve their problems with hints from the forum helpers.

To be honest if you had read the posting guidelines and showed us your attempt with this problem you would have received help by now. Post back with you diagram and work you have done for this problem so we have an idea what method you want to do and know how to help you.
