If 16 = x * 4 * 2 equals 16/(4 * 2) = 2, what does 16 = x * 2/4 equal?

Is it (4 * 16)/2 or 16/(4/2) or something else?

Why would you do something different? Try EXACTLY the same thing...

16 = x * 4 * 2
16= x * (4 * 2)
16 / (4 * 2) = x

Now, again...
16 = x * 2/4
16 = x * (2/4)
16 / (2/4) = x

EXACTLY the same thing.

I want to thank you for the reply! 16 / (2/4) then would equal 16 divided by 2/4 which becomes 16 * 4 / 2, and this would equal 32. Is this correct?
