Hi guys,

this is my assignment. I’ve asked multiple times for help from my lecturers and I’m not getting a clear understanding of what they want at all. It’s due on the 16th of April. I know the maths behind it but I’m confused as to whether question 1, i) and ii) are to be in 24 bits or 12 bits or 2 lots of 12 bits . If it’s the last one I don’t understand how I would get 2 set of 12 bit numbers from one integer and floating point number.
Please help!

I think they want a 12 bit representation for each number.
