If you have a pile of tiles and each is 10" by 12' and 0.5"thick, what is the least amount of tiles needed to make a square?

I have been trying to work this out for 2 days and have aske 4 people. I have to be missing something.

If I understand that you will use whole tiles, six rows of five each gives a square of \(\displaystyle 60 \times 60\).

If 10 inches by 12 feet, then you need 360 of them: 144*5 = 720; 10*72 = 720 ; 72*5 = 360.
The thickness is irrelevant.
