Suppose H is a subgroup of a group G. If given any two left cosets of H, aH and bH it is true that (aH)(bH) is also a left coset then is it true that H is a normal subgroup?
I suspect that this is true but can't prove it. Can some kind person supply me with the proof or counter example.
