Okay this is pretty tricky:

P(t) = 1 / 1 + e^-t

a. Using delta t = + or - 0.5 and the definition of the derivative, find both an over and under estimate for P'(2). What is a bound on the error for these approximations?

It's been a year since I've taken calculus 1 so I it's hard for me to remember what to do exactly. I watched videos and this question still does not quite make sense to me. Can anyone help me out?

What is the definition of derivative ... what does your textbook/class-notes say?

What are your thoughts?
