A point moves along the curve y=2x^2+1 such that the y value is decreasing at a rate of 2 units/sec. At what rate is x changing when x=3/2
Please help

\(\displaystyle y \ = \ 2x^2 \ + \ 1\)

\(\displaystyle \frac{dy}{dt} \ = \ 4x\cdot \frac{dx}{dt}\)

now finish it.....

I can't get any of them...

One of those numbers is correct answer.

Please show us how you tried to solve - and get some "number". Then we would know where to begin to help you.
