You can check it yourself - just like you would check regular division.

(x^3 + 6x^2 - 3x - 5) * (-3x^2 + 29x - 150) + 946x^2 - 341x - 756 = ?

Do you get (-3x^5 + 11x^4 + 33x^3 - 26x^2 - 36x - 6) as the result of the operation above ?

If you don't - then there is a mistake somewhere.

If you do - you are probably correct.

If when you do your final subtraction, the result is not zero, what does that mean?
