Know where I can get the special math symbols for my keyboard? I think there is a special feature integrated into MS Word...the problem is that I need to compose a math paper on my computer, the problem is that I don't know how to add symbols like pi, sigma, squares, subs, etc.

Can anyone help me?

Thnx bros.

MS Equation Editor for Word

Hello WTF?:

There is mathematical software bundled with MS Word called the Equation Editor.

I believe that a standard install of MS Word does not include the math software, so you need to use your original disks for MS Word to manually install the Equation Editor.

The help file that comes with the Equation Editor provides keyboard shortcuts for the most common mathematical symbols. Other symbols are found using the menu(s).

Not "All" Symbols

Dark Knight 496:

It's true that some limited math symbols are available if you use the "Mathematical Operators" or the "Miscellaneous Technical" subsets after navigating to Insert -> Symbol.

If you're typing a math document, however, you would probably want access to many of the math symbols available. In this case, you need to install the Equation Editor.
